It’s been about two months now since I launched Startupping. In that time, it’s grown into a great community of entrepreneurs. My latest blog post over there is 15 Startup Commandments. Check it out!

  2. Truer words have not been spoken. The problem is, I don’t want to grow up.

  3. Hello Mark,
I just read your story from an elance email blast I received. In the past two year I have become a student of positivity and beleive when focused it can be used to attract those things that one needs to be sucessful. I have been working on a website for four years on a part time basis. In the past year and half we decided to put more serious effort into it. I saw you write-up and I beleive your experience may be just what we need to get the site to the point we beleive it should be. I was wondering if you would be interested as an investor. The site is theflowonline.com. It is an urban online magazine and social networking community. Let me know what you think?

  4. Roger, my suggestion is to post this on the Startupping forums. You’ll get a get amount of input from the other forum members. Thanks.

  5. I realize that you are very busy and that startupping is a wonderful resource for getting advice and information on a lot of the questions and processes or starting up a new venture. However, I was wondering if you could contact me so I could ask you a very quick and direct question.
You probably get this request a lot, but we’ve been developing our products and services for over two years, and after reading your first 2 suggestions on startupping I can’t tell you how correct your advice is. We were in Manhattan Project mode and then launched on New Years and got drowned out a week later. We then received a lot of “buzz” but it’s still hard to find the “right” investors for our project.
If you are too busy or can’t respond then I understand, and you also don’t have to post this comment up on your blog. Also, please don’t worry — I am not going to ask you to invest in what we’re doing. haha… Just a few lines of specific advice that would be priceless to us.

  6. Atif, the best thing to do is to post in one of the Startupping forums. Then, you’ll get good feedback from many people, not just this schlub. 🙂

  7. thank you very nice topic, thanks (:
